Flux Capacitor Studios continues its groundbreaking collaboration with biotech startup VERT Project, co-founded by Flux founder Michael Manasseri. Bridging the worlds of cinematic storytelling and advanced scientific research, the two entities are united by a bold mission: to explore how humanity can adapt to escalating environmental stress.

Born out of the short-form science doc Gene Hunters, VERT Project is based in Rome and led by a team of molecular biologists, filmmakers, and expedition scientists working at the edge of genetic innovation and climate resilience. As co-founder and creative partner, Manasseri helps translate these discoveries into compelling, accessible content for general audiences.

Most recently, the VERT team embarked on an exploratory expedition to Albania, investigating extreme ecosystems and environmental markers that could hold clues to human adaptability. With support from Flux Capacitor Studios, the journey was documented on location and will become part of an upcoming slate of short documentaries and media content designed to elevate public engagement with cutting-edge science.
